The fridge appears to be it's a luxury appliance, but it doesn't cost as much. The counter-depth of this fridge allows you to get the look of a built-in refrigerator at a lower price than a custom refrigerator. It also does an excellent job of concealing the water dispenser and the ice maker behind a fake panel. This makes it look more seamless than fridges that display the appliances. However, it suffers from some minor design flaws that prevent it from being as effective as it could be.
This Frigidaire fridge is counter-depth. It is able to lose 7 cubic feet of usable space when compared to an ordinary Gallery fridge that has standard depth measurements. This is a significant loss particularly when you consider the appliance is priced at around $3,500.
However, the fridge still does a great job of maintaining steady temperatures in its freezer and cooling compartments. It also did very well in our spill test by keeping liquids and water contained, even on the top shelves.
